SSP have over 130 Pumpkin cafes nationwide that generate their largest revenue. LOMI were asked to review the brand and consider if it should be rationalised, refreshed or rebranded. As a result a full rebrand was developed.

Background

Using the name ‘Coffee Room’ generated by LOMI, the rebrand concept was based around a public transport influence alongside a welcoming contemporary look and feel.

Result

A graphic identity was developed using simple type and cut out photography, taking influence from travel graphics but with a contemporary twist. In conjunction the interior aspects of the brand were developed. A dark parquet floor with tiled walls and green grey paint finish was set off with the vibrant frames of the retro tubular seating featuring the secondary brand colours.
