Cynon Linc Community Centre approached Lomi Design to create a brand based on the existing logo and colourways. Alongside this a sub brand was created for the centres cafe called Hyb Kitchen Cegin.
Cynon Linc Community Centre in Aberdare is used by all aspects of the local community from the young to the more mature. Within the centre is a cafe called Hyb also used by various member of the community. The building had been refurbished and a colourway and logo had been design prior to Lomi design being asked to evolve the brand, the communications and to design a sub brand for the cafe: Hyb.
A strong bold look and feel was created to communicate various aspects of the centre. This was then applied to digital screens and wall graphics in the centre as well as leaflets and promotional posters. Lomi Design then created a sub brand for the cafe. Initially a logo was created that highlighted the ‘hub’ aspect of the cafe as a place to eat, drink and meet up. The clear bold look and feel was then used to design menus, wall graphics, promotional literature and on screen offers.
